City Council Approves New Dog Park Near Celina Community Park
The 2-acre off-leash area will include separate sections for large and small dogs, with water stations and shaded seating.

City officials say the widening project will ease traffic bottlenecks and unlock major commercial development along the city's busiest arterial road.
Celina City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to approve a $42 million infrastructure bond for the Preston Road expansion. The project — expected to begin in July — will widen the corridor from two to six lanes and add dedicated bike paths and sidewalks. Mayor Ryan Tubbs called it a critical step for the city's long-term transportation planning.
